Dr. Megan Zaander is thrilled to practice at Lake Oswego GYN, in her hometown of Lake Oswego. She appreciates the ability to provide more personalized care in a smaller practice.
Dr. Zaander focuses on gynecology and general women’s healthcare. Her clinical interests include pediatric & adolescent gynecology, management of abnormal bleeding, vulvar health, menopause, and urinary incontinence — she truly enjoys caring for women across their lifetimes. Dr. Zaander specializes in minimally invasive surgery techniques, including vaginal and laparoscopic procedures.
Dr. Zaander attended college at Lawrence University in Wisconsin, studying biochemistry and biomedical ethics, then returned to Oregon for medical school at Oregon Health and Science University. She completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Zaander maintains active board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Zaander also maintains extra subspecialty certification in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a Certified Menopause Practitioner through the North American Menopause Society.
She is the proud mother of a son Charlie, and she enjoys reading, baking, and exploring the beautiful PNW outdoors.
