Meet Sydney Svob. Sydney comes with a wealth of women’s health experience and is a Physician Associate.
Sydney is proud to join the Lake Oswego GYN team, where she can fulfill her passion for women’s health. She loves working in a close-knit clinical setting where building patient relationships and delivering individualized care are top priorities.
Originally from a small town in central Illinois, Sydney earned her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from the University of Illinois. After graduation, she moved to Arizona to be closer to family, where she gained valuable experience working as a dialysis technician. Her acceptance to PA school at Pacific University brought her to the Pacific Northwest, where she quickly fell in love with the trees, the coast, and even the rainy weather.
After graduation, she was committed to settling down in Oregon. She worked for 3+ years in a fast-paced urgent care clinic and then 2 years at a fertility clinic in Portland before joining the Lake Oswego GYN team. These experiences strengthened her clinical skills and deepened her dedication to supporting patients through vulnerable moments of their health journeys. She is excited to bring this experience and compassion to her role at Lake Oswego GYN.
Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending time with her husband, Eric, and their two cats, Cheddar and Pepperjack. She loves traveling, and most frequently hops on a plane to Arizona to visit her niece and nephew. Each summer, she continues a favorite tradition of a backpacking trip with friends, embracing the natural beauty that first made her fall in love with the Pacific Northwest.
