Dear Doctor Nancy,
We are patients from your past. The story goes like this…
My mom was haunted with old chlamydia scare and you advised her that a test could be done to see if her fallopian tubes were free from scar tissue. Because of her sensitive breasts and cervix you had red flags about continuing the procedure. “A little birdie on your shoulder” told you to not follow through with the procedure. A pregnancy test was given and nine months later I was born.
The past 22 years have been filled with growing pains, sorrow and much joy. I am now in my third quarter of nursing school and I plan to continue my education to become a nurse practitioner. Thank you for listening to your intuition.
